I initially started teenalmyers.com to promote a book. The book is no longer in print. By that time, I wrote a blog for a local newspaper and thought about abandoning the site. But a friend told me how much she missed a Sunday school class I taught, so I made the site a place for material I wrote while teaching Sunday school. But other ventures repeatedly derailed the plan to post five years of lesson material.
I prepared a new website, scwguild.com, for a writing group to help the leader communicate with us and to post videos of our speakers. Several years later, a door opened to start a new writing group in a bookstore. When I left to start the new group, the website came with me.
Maintaining both websites became a challenge. In 2019, I was sick for six months and ended the year in a wheelchair. Regaining my health and strength became a priority and maintaining teenalmyers.com stopped. I tried to kick start it again, but life has changed.
As the writing group flourished, the writing website demanded more of my time, so I decided to consolidate them into one. I am in the process of moving the material on this site to the writing website. My teaching material is being released every Friday on scwguild.com. I will eventually delete this site.
